Just got my iPad, 16GB wifi model. Ok so it is not the latest but I bought it as nearly new on eBay for a lot less than even the Apple discounted ones. So I thought I would try out the WordPress app on a new blog. Logged and started this post, so if you can read it then it must be working.

Even better I managed after 2 days of messing around to root and tether my Android G2/hero phone so I can connect this baby when I am out and about. More on the trials an tribulation of that to come later.

All considered this must be the best tech toy ever made. It is brilliant as a reader and have loaded several news apps that are dedicated to providing up to date news in a form that uses the best of the printed page interspersed with the best if modern media.

Garageband is a really cool app and looking forward to making music with that. I will keep a list of my favourites apps on this blog.

I also want to get into writing my own apps so will be doing some research and keeping a blog on how I get on in both this and the android format.
